Jade has long been regarded as a stone of luck. Around the world, the stone is turned to for it’s light and positive qualities — including love, happiness and abundance.
We designed this collection of authentic Jade malas with that in mind. We wanted to create something to inspire balance, peace and calm. Pieces we could wear that would inspire the light within.
We also looked back on Chinese tradition — where Jade has been used in rituals to connect heaven and Earth, lending to the nickname “The Stone Of Heaven.”
Another quality of Jade is that it's believed to help ward off evil. Helping provide protection, many wear the stone as jewelry, and have it around their home.
The stone has many natural colors, including red, green, yellow and white. We’ve sourced only natural and vibrant jade stones for this collection — Burmese Jade (light white/blue), Golden Silk Jade (pink/white stone), Honey Jade (yellow) and Green Jade (light green — the most traditional color).
We’ve combined the stones with silver, for self love and self reflection. And gold, which is symbolic of spirituality and development.
A beautiful quote about Jade comes from philosopher Confucius, who once said there are 11 virtues of Jade:
"The wise have likened jade to virtue. For them, its polish and brilliancy represent the whole of purity; its perfect compactness and extreme hardness represent the sureness of intelligence; its angles, which do not cut, although they seem sharp, represent justice; the pure and prolonged sound, which it gives forth when one strikes it, represents music.
Its color represents loyalty; its interior flaws, always showing themselves through the transparency, call to mind sincerity; its iridescent brightness represents heaven; its admirable substance, born of mountain and of water, represents the earth. Used alone without ornamentation it represents chastity. The price that the entire world attaches to it represents the truth."
