WHOLESALE TERMS AND POLICIES

ORDER MINIMUMS

Wholesale (WS) orders must meet a minimum of 500$ USD. For your first order we
recommend a minimum of 20 pieces with approximately half being necklaces. This is
so your merchandising stand is stocked and to provide your audience with a strong
amount of choice without being overwhelming.

PRICING, TAXES & CUSTOM DUTY

WS pricing is exactly half of Retail MSRP (USD).

US & International: We do not collect taxes from our US and international wholesalers. Import custom duties are the responsibility of the wholesaler and are to be paid upon delivery with your local post office service.

Canada: GST or HST is charged as applicable.

PROCESSING TIME

If you order pieces that are available in stock, processing time to pull and pack your order is one week. Shipping time is in addition to this. Please read below for more information.

When you pre-order items, or order large quantities of particular items, the order is submitted to our team in Bali, therefore processing times may vary between 4 and 6 weeks.

Our manufacturer in Bali also uses White Swan Music as an official distributor in the US. Mala Collective’s exclusive designs can only be purchased through Mala Collective.

SHIPPING

Shipping Fees are displayed at check-out and are the wholesaler's responsibility. Fees vary depending on weight and destination.

US & International: Delivery time can take 7-10 business days to the US. International shipping varies between 2-3 weeks. Please note that shipping delays are possible due to to Canada Post, customs and border control, and your local post office services.

Canada: Delivery time is approximately 5-7 business days. Shipping delays are subject to the services of Canada Post.

PAYMENT TERMS

Our preferred methods of payment are Visa, Master Card, or PayPal. Payment is due prior to shipping.

RETURNS OR EXCHANGES

We do not accept any returns or exchanges. We will work closely with you to ensure that you have a strong order of our top sellers.

If you receive a defective or damaged item in your shipment, please notify us within seven (7) business days of arrival of shipment for an exchange or credit.

Mala beads that have been worn and that break can be sent to Bali for repairs. Each item will only be sent for repair once. We send repair items to Bali twice per month. It may take between 6-8 weeks to be returned.

When an item purchased breaks immediately (or within seven (7) days of purchase), there are two options:

  1. 1. Arrange for exchange or refund directly with your client and we would provide you with a credit, or we can ship you a new item. We require that the broken items get returned to us within a reasonable amount of time.
  2.  
  3. 2. If you no longer have the item in inventory for replacement, you can redirect your client to contact us directly (info@malacollective.com) and we can arrange the exchange and in this case we would cover their shipping costs.

ONLINE WHOLESALE

Please let us know if you intend to feature our partnership on your Website. We can offer our imagery and copy for your site to promote the brand. If you intend to sell our mala beads through your online store, we will evaluate each request on a case-by- case basis. Email us at wholesale@malacollective.com for your request.

We ask that online retailers do not submit bids or purchase search engine optimization or any other advertising containing any of our branded terms “mala collective”, “malacollective” or any similar phrasing or misspelling.

We ask that online retailers clearly state that each piece is “by Mala Collective” in the product description. Please use the same product naming and pricing as our retail site at malacollective.com. If you must reduce the price of the items for a “sale” please limit the discount amount to no more than 15%. Online retailers may use images and product descriptions from Malacollective.com.

Mala Collective does not perform “Drop shipping” for online retailers; You are responsible for purchasing the items then shipping them to your customers.
